Star warts!

 This year i have been practicing as toby wonky nosebleed for the up and coming star warts play at greymain school! We have been practicing for 7 months now and We are very excited to show our new found love for acting! Remember to buy your tickets at the grey main school office!

The truth about honesty

 On Tuesday we had to do a document on the truth of honesty, I found it interesting because it made me think deeper into the reality of deceit and honesty. Here is what I have done.

My lockdown Journey.

 On Tuesday on the 17th August 11:59 PM we went into alert level 4 for lockdown. At this time it was for an unknown time, But it has now been 2 weeks. During those two week's we were very busy. We had to do 4 - 5 hours of school work everyday while balancing the normal daily tasks at home. It got very boring quickly as we did not go outside to see our friends or exercise. But at least we got to spend more time with our family. It was challenging but we managed to get through it without having much drama between us. We also introduced a new system for dinner. From Monday to Friday each week one kid chooses what we would have for dinner. It was a very good idea and everybody liked this new system. Now it is monday 30th of August and we are going into alert level 3 on wednesday the 1st of October. 

Today is tuesday the 31st of august, it has been really hard to do anything today as the wifi keeps turning off and on, But I am still managing to my work as most of it you can do with no wifi, This being an example, Tomorrow we go into alert level 3 and I have to go back to school.  But after writing yesterday's note, I Did a 40 minute walk. So that was pretty good. I went to see my nana when I did that walk. I will have to update you tomorrow.

Today is wednesday the 1st of October. Today has just not been my day, First off I woke up at 9 AM! Then I put my shirt on the wrong way. I also burnt my toast. I'm hoping today will get better as I need to get my work done for the day so I can have the rest of the day to myself Anyway, see you all tomorrow.

 This week we had to make a presentation about the things we are grateful for! This is mine!

Book character week

Today we had to dress up in our favorite book character costume, there were a lot of interesting costumes And many of them required A team to work. I dressed up as Harry Potter, Here is what I looked like!

 

A story I wrote

 A few weeks ago I wrote a little story for one of my friends, I hope you enjoy reading it.

She crept down the hall trying not to make a sound, she was afraid that her footsteps would wake the dark silent house. She made it to the kitchen without waking a single person. She grabbed some snacks carefully and crept back to her bedroom. After getting into bed she grabbed her laptop and her headphones, she began watching youtube and talking to her friends. Later, she looked at her phone and then seemed surprised, It was already 3:43 AM. she wondered how the time flew by that fast. She looked at her laptop again and continued watching youtube, She noticed something soft jump onto her bed. She looked over and it was her tiny cat. She smiled and began petting it. The cat purred it's soft low pitched purr and it seemed to calm her and the cat down. She was happy along with the cat. She then soon fell asleep.

This week we looked at making instructions for your chosen subject, this is what I made

                     How to make fairy bread

Ingredients: 2 slices of White bread, Sprinkles, Margarine, Knife, Bread board, Plate, Soap, Cup, Soda Or any type of drink.

Step one: Wash your hands with soap as to get rid of any germs! 

Step two: Grab your two slices of bread carefully as not to crumple up the bread

Step three: Place the bread on the breadboard softly.

Step four: Grab your knife and cut the bread into triangles softly as to not to make any extra holes in the bread.

Step five: Grab your margarine and place it next to the bread. 

Step six: Open the margarine and put some on your knife.

Step seven: Butter the pieces of bread carefully.

Step eight: Grab your sprinkles and open them.

Step nine: Pour some sprinkles onto the bread, Also make sure that no sprinkles bounce off your bread!

Step ten: Put the fairy bread onto a plate.

Step eleven: Grab your cup.

Step Twelve: Grab your the soda or other drinks bottle.

Step thirteen: Pour the drink into the cup.

Step fourteen: Enjoy your fairy bread and drink!

Sayonara, Mr B

 Saying goodbye is hard, Especially to someone you have known for a while And that is how we are feeling today at GreyMain school as Mr B is leaving after 13 years of great humor and good teaching at GreyMain. He has helped many people with personal problems and bullying. Mr B is retiring at 65 years old. It was good having him here and we will definitely miss him taking us to the garden and telling us his hour long stories, So this is our final goodbye to you Mr B so on that note, Sayonara Jeff B
