Star warts!

 This year i have been practicing as toby wonky nosebleed for the up and coming star warts play at greymain school! We have been practicing for 7 months now and We are very excited to show our new found love for acting! Remember to buy your tickets at the grey main school office!

The truth about honesty

 On Tuesday we had to do a document on the truth of honesty, I found it interesting because it made me think deeper into the reality of deceit and honesty. Here is what I have done.

My lockdown Journey.

 On Tuesday on the 17th August 11:59 PM we went into alert level 4 for lockdown. At this time it was for an unknown time, But it has now been 2 weeks. During those two week's we were very busy. We had to do 4 - 5 hours of school work everyday while balancing the normal daily tasks at home. It got very boring quickly as we did not go outside to see our friends or exercise. But at least we got to spend more time with our family. It was challenging but we managed to get through it without having much drama between us. We also introduced a new system for dinner. From Monday to Friday each week one kid chooses what we would have for dinner. It was a very good idea and everybody liked this new system. Now it is monday 30th of August and we are going into alert level 3 on wednesday the 1st of October. 

Today is tuesday the 31st of august, it has been really hard to do anything today as the wifi keeps turning off and on, But I am still managing to my work as most of it you can do with no wifi, This being an example, Tomorrow we go into alert level 3 and I have to go back to school.  But after writing yesterday's note, I Did a 40 minute walk. So that was pretty good. I went to see my nana when I did that walk. I will have to update you tomorrow.

Today is wednesday the 1st of October. Today has just not been my day, First off I woke up at 9 AM! Then I put my shirt on the wrong way. I also burnt my toast. I'm hoping today will get better as I need to get my work done for the day so I can have the rest of the day to myself Anyway, see you all tomorrow.

Book character week

Today we had to dress up in our favorite book character costume, there were a lot of interesting costumes And many of them required A team to work. I dressed up as Harry Potter, Here is what I looked like!

 

A story I wrote

 A few weeks ago I wrote a little story for one of my friends, I hope you enjoy reading it.

She crept down the hall trying not to make a sound, she was afraid that her footsteps would wake the dark silent house. She made it to the kitchen without waking a single person. She grabbed some snacks carefully and crept back to her bedroom. After getting into bed she grabbed her laptop and her headphones, she began watching youtube and talking to her friends. Later, she looked at her phone and then seemed surprised, It was already 3:43 AM. she wondered how the time flew by that fast. She looked at her laptop again and continued watching youtube, She noticed something soft jump onto her bed. She looked over and it was her tiny cat. She smiled and began petting it. The cat purred it's soft low pitched purr and it seemed to calm her and the cat down. She was happy along with the cat. She then soon fell asleep.

This week we looked at making instructions for your chosen subject, this is what I made

                     How to make fairy bread

Ingredients: 2 slices of White bread, Sprinkles, Margarine, Knife, Bread board, Plate, Soap, Cup, Soda Or any type of drink.

Step one: Wash your hands with soap as to get rid of any germs! 

Step two: Grab your two slices of bread carefully as not to crumple up the bread

Step three: Place the bread on the breadboard softly.

Step four: Grab your knife and cut the bread into triangles softly as to not to make any extra holes in the bread.

Step five: Grab your margarine and place it next to the bread. 

Step six: Open the margarine and put some on your knife.

Step seven: Butter the pieces of bread carefully.

Step eight: Grab your sprinkles and open them.

Step nine: Pour some sprinkles onto the bread, Also make sure that no sprinkles bounce off your bread!

Step ten: Put the fairy bread onto a plate.

Step eleven: Grab your cup.

Step Twelve: Grab your the soda or other drinks bottle.

Step thirteen: Pour the drink into the cup.

Step fourteen: Enjoy your fairy bread and drink!

Sayonara, Mr B

 Saying goodbye is hard, Especially to someone you have known for a while And that is how we are feeling today at GreyMain school as Mr B is leaving after 13 years of great humor and good teaching at GreyMain. He has helped many people with personal problems and bullying. Mr B is retiring at 65 years old. It was good having him here and we will definitely miss him taking us to the garden and telling us his hour long stories, So this is our final goodbye to you Mr B so on that note, Sayonara Jeff B

The swan horse is a rare and endangered animal, BUT this amazing animal is not on the list for endangered animals! And it should be. As There is only 12 of them left in their Birth area! 

This Horse looking creature has a swans head but a horses body, It acts like a cat! It eats the dead bugs from the ground and it eats other animals

like deer. 

This animal lives in the snowiest area of chernobyl. Also the most radiated! So that no other animals get to it as they will die from the radiation!

This animal uses its sharp beak to stab their pray to death and then eats it, for defence it kicks the predators legs making them fall to the floor then the predator becomes the prey.

So this animal should definitely be on the endangered list of animals! As there are only 12 (sighted) left!

A report on communism

                                        Communism

Communism is where a group or community owns the company, They also get paid for the amount of work they do. The work environment is the most important thing for them. A lot of people think Communism is bad, but the workers are happy with it! Also the work environment is 50% better than any Non- Communists, so that means more happy workers and more product and that means more money for the business and then more money for the business and then that gets the workers more pay! It's a good system! 

Did you know that when communism is present in the workplace people tend to be more happy, And people end up not hating their job, So that means you have more workers joining that love their job.

People think communism is bad, but it's not as bad as they say! Communists actually are happy saying that they enjoy their job and they wouldn't quit it for any other job.

Communism is a good system as it would help the workers and the business at the same time. The workers get more pay because they work more as they know that no one is incharge of them.

Communism was made so that people could live in a classless society, So no one was classed as rich and no one was classed as poor.

Also socialism is the exact opposite of communism! Most countries are apart of socialism For example: America, New zealand, Japan, ireland, Greenland. So that's interesting! 

So in summary, I think communism is good because….

The workers are more happy than office workers or 9/5 job workers.

Communist Businesses Make more products and money than normal businesses.

They have a good work environment.

A report about dogs

Dogs, They are a mammal and common domestic household pet. Many people have dogs to help them with stuff like depression, P.T.S.D, Anxiety, And many others! Dogs are very important in some peoples life as many dogs will loose their life to protect their owners it shows trust! Also dogs will eat almost anything! From cat food to grass!

Did you know that dogs can't feel guilt? They are just sad that their owner is telling them off! Also dogs are friendly to new people and will only bite if they think you are a threat.

Also dogs know when your having a panic attack or a bad day, They will try to help you in anyway they think of! Dogs are very important in peoples life as they might have been the humans best friend since birth! 

Dogs will eat As much as they can get! Also if you want to know if their feeling sick there is a scientifically proven fact! If your dog begins eating grass that means it's not feeling so well! Grass helps calm down their stomach acids! Also dogs really like cat food! They also like to eat bananas! Also they know exactly what you did that day just by sniffing you! 

There are dogs that help with blindness! These dogs are called guide dogs. They help by tugging you in the right direction or barking when you need to stop walking! Also they will run the other way if they sense danger! 

And now back to the topic of dogs helping with different mental disorders. Dogs that help with mental disorders are called “Service dogs”! Also dogs know how to help their owner they can hug, lick/kiss And cheer their owners up by doing tricks or bringing them their favorite items! They care deeply about you! And will do anything to keep you safe!

So in a good conclusion dogs are a good house hold pet!

A Story

 He sprinted through the field with the ball it felt like a soft ball of rubber and jelly. People were shouting his name as he scored a goal, he looked at his rivals and he smiled. The horrible taste of dirt entered his mouth as he spat it out. He smelt a barbecue from across the road. “What a weird time to have a barbecue” he said with a tone nobody liked hearing. “New round!” Shouted the referee. A few minutes later… He sprinted through the field with the ball it felt like a soft ball of rubber and jelly...

Change the world

 If you could change the world with once choice what would you change? Well I would make it so that global warming would stop so that we could live our lives on the good side! It would also help new zealand's ozone layer heal! Also it would save many dying animals. What will your choice be havoc or peace? Try to decide.
